Description:
This Döşemealtı carpet convinces of its beauty in the color balance as well as in the playful pattern that runs from the main field to the borders. The fringes are somewhat uneven and the pile is deeper in some places and the rug has a small hole in the centre and a slight colour run. This example is very expressive and of special interest to a collector and carpet afficinado in general with a good eye for aesthetics. It is possible that the colors are from a vegetable origin. The rug has beenwashed very well and the colors look stunning.
