A marvellous rug from the Khoressan region whose capital is Meshed. Gyrus designs with Shah Abassi-like medallions adorn the light-coloured centre field of this excellent example of rug weaving from this region. The centre field is colour coordinated with the border and the light background colour gives this rug a brightness that will make any room shimmer. In full pile and very good condition. Very beautiful border with a wonderful arrangement of patterns.
