A very special rug. At first glance, this carpet looks like an Afghan Kazak judging by the colours and the pattern. However, when you turn it over you can see the Ghiordes knot and also the thickness of the wool and the knotting style suggests that it is a Ziegler rug. Very nice colours and also the pile density makes this a very attractive rug.
