Description:
A very rare carpet from a small village near Kashan with the beautiful name Abyaneh (Abbane). This carpet is estimated to date from 1850-1900. The first carpets in this area were woven in Abyaneh and not in Kashan. Large tears and signs of wear. Very rare carpet, made entirely of silk.
