A beautifully woven bijar with a diamond medallion and unusually warm colours in the main field, which are harmonised by matching darker colours in the corners. The border is knotted in the Sarouk tradition, but the colours are more reminiscent of Bakhtiari and Karabagh. A truly marvellous Bidjar rug in good dimensions at a favourable price.
