Almost square Hatchlu Ensi rug from Afghanistan. The pile is deep and in some places there is almost no pile left, but otherwise the rug has a very beautiful appearance and is also beautifully preserved in terms of colour. The fringes have been reinforced on both sides with anchor stitch.
