Description:
An antique Kurdish rug with a decorative look. Low pile and some repairs as well of signs of wear and tear. The geometric patterns give an indication of how close the Caucasus is located. The Turkish knot type could also indicate a Caucasian origin. However, if you turn the rug on it's back you can see the knot structure clearly indicates that this is a Persian rug from northwestern Iran. A unique example of a Kurdish rug with a unique color and a highly decorative look and feel.
